The Vandal DLG, although relatively simple to build and fly, is not necessarily considered a beginner’s plane. It is recommended, that you have previous building knowledge and flying experience prior to purchasing a Vandal.

Vandal Specifications
Wing area: 340 sq. in. Weight: 8.25-9.5 oz. AUW depending on options Wing airfoils: Modified Drela AG45 series Wingspan: 59 in. projected span
Wing Material-Standard Vandal wings are made of
1.7 oz Kevlar. 1 oz Kevlar (when available) may be
custom ordered for an additional charge.
Fuselage Material- Standard Vandal fuselages are
made of a hybrid carbon/aramid fabric. Kevlar
fuselages with carbon reinforcements, which
may be better suited with 2.4 GHz, may be
custom ordered .
The Vandal is best suited for
Dymond D47 servos in the
wings. A 4-Channel Plane
(2-Servo Wing) may be custom
ordered to accommodate Hitec HS45 or Hyperion DS09SCD with inboard placement for an additional charge.
RDS
RDS stands for Rotary Drive System. It is an
internal linkage system that replaces conventional
outboard pushrod linkages. Although not required
on Vandal Kits, it is a very popular option. If you
choose RDS as an option, RDS hardware is installed
and ready for you to drop in your servos (servos are not included or installed).
